I have been wanting to make something with Pork Chops. I went through some of my old recipes and came across this one
6-8 pork chops
1 can of cream of mushroom or chicken soup
olive oil
salt
pepper
garlic powder
onion powder
Sprinkle each side of the pork chops with the salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Heat a large skillet on medium/high heat. Pour the olive oil in the heated skillet. Heat the pan up first and then add the olive oil.
Put the pork chops in the skillet and brown on each side for about 1 minute. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and place them in a crock pot.Pour the soup in the crock pot. Put the lid on the crock pot and turn it on low for 8 hours or low for 6 hours.
I really like steamed green beans and mashed potatoes as sides for this dish. The sauce that is left in the crock pot makes great gravy for the potatoes. This is a very yummy meal for the whole family.

Ham and Cheese crepes
Hi again,
So I have been trying to come up with some new things to make for my son before he goes off to school in the mornings. He is a picky eater, so that can be difficult at times. This one I just thought of but I am sure many people have made it before. I thought I would share it anyway.
Ham and Cheese Crepes
Ingredients:
3 eggs ( I know alot of us are not wanting to eat eggs right now but maybe when things settle with the egg companies)
pinch of salt
1 cup of milk
3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
Canola oil as needed or wanted
1/2 cup of diced ham (or meat of choice)
1/2 cup of dice tomatoes (optional)
1 cup grated cheese of choice
Directions:
Mix eggs, salt, milk, and flour. add butter, and let batter set for 10 minutes or so. pour mixture into an oiled skillet. cook for 2 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook other side. Repeat with the rest of the batter. Stack the crepes in between the wax paper. Preheat oven to 350 F degrees. Fill the crepes with the meat, tomatoes, cheese, and then roll them up. You will want to bake them on a lightly oiled baking pan for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melting, and serve with syrup or any kind of dipping sauce you like. They are supper yummy especially for picky kids!
Have a Great day until next time!

Welcome
Hello Readers,
I did create this blog awhile ago wanting to post the recipes that I like and come across. I have become an addict with trying to find ways to save money and find recipes. So, I want this blog to be about saving money and find recipes. I think they categorize well today. Well my name is Tara. I have a hubby named Chuck, and we have two beautiful children together. If you would like to post on how you like this blog or ways I could improve it, that would be appreciated. Thanks!
Look forward to getting to blog more and get more readers!
